Hello :) My name is Shelby. I am a Christian, a real Christian. I made this blog in order to post my findings, prayers, and hopefully meet fellow Christians that I can connect with. I want to be clear that I go based off of God's Word. If He hates it, I hate it. If He loves it, I love it. I aim to be His extension and reach out to His lost Creation. I will be honest and it will anger people, but I would rather be hated for saving souls, than loved for holding hands down the path to hell.

Tell me, how exactly is it loving to believe that homosexuals are wrong for simply being who they are, that homosexuals shouldn’t have all of the same rights that heterosexuals do, including the right to marry the person they love, and that homosexuals should either have to live a life of forced celibacy or else pretend to be straight? I mean, it seems to me like your beliefs are incredibly hateful. Just because your beliefs come from the Bible doesn’t mean they can’t possibly be hateful, you know. After all, the Bible is filled with hatred.
Ya know, i’ve noticed something about this blog. this girl deliberately finds and attacks Christians blogs.
It just seems hateful. But who am I to judge? God is the judge to the non-believers. It is just my job to hold believers accountable. I just feel for this Christian girl she attacked, because “quiety-living-life” attacked my blog once as well and it’s not a great feeling. she doesnt seem to “quietly” live her life.
How exactly did I attack ProverbsThirtyOneThirty? Just because I called her out on her hatred doesn’t mean that I attacked her.
@sarahrose7: I’ve had debates with her before and she mentions her love for them on her blog. It’s not bad to debate as long as it is in a mature manor. But she seems to prefer to dish out personal attacks instead of just arguments which is why I struggle with her messages. Of course, that is how many people on tumblr prefer to debate. Personal attacks are not uncommon especially not when you allow anonymous posts. But, you are very right that we are not to judge but to go to God for strength and patience. He has a reason for sending every one on our paths, we just have to trust in His greater purpose.
@quietly-living-life: Called me out on my hatred? That’s false. You have no stance to say I am hateful when you are the one making false accusations against me. I stated my beliefs on the matter and you overtook my ask box with words in an attempt to anger me and get me to say what pleased you. You attempt to make me out to be something I am not because I simply have a differing view point. You are the one who is being hateful here.

I disagree with their life choices, just like I disagree with a liar’s want to lie, a cheater’s want to cheat, or a thief’s want to steal. Homosexuals do have the same rights. The only right they do not have is marriage. My beliefs are that of the Bible and that it says, marriage is for a man and a woman. Where is the Bible filled with hatred? To me, it is filled with hope and lessons that I can learn from the lives of others. It brings love and joy and it brings warnings. You see it as hateful because it says sinners go to hell. If you understood that God is a holy and just God, you would understand why it is that way. God does not owe us an explanation, if you don’t like His laws, then be my guest and take it up with Him. I don’t recommend it, of course, but I am not going to argue with the Creator of the Universe.

Not all homosexuals go through that. At any point when someone tries to force a change to themselves mentally or physically, it can be harmful. You are looking at this from an Atheist perspective and I am looking at it from a Christian one. I believe that through God all things are possible, He will help those who ask for His help. He does it every day for Christians who come kneeling before Him with their sins. He does it for me every day.
Why are you calling them “so-called ex-gays”? You really believe that it was just some big hoax? People change all the time. It’s not like once you turn homosexual you can never go back. It’s not always a one way train. Some even start out homosexual since they were little and then become straight. Those people are offering up personal stories to help others cope with their own lives and you are degrading them by making it out to be fakes? That’s really hateful of you to assume that. That would be like if someone were to tell you they thought you were lying about you being born gay. Those stories are just as real as anyone else’s.
Those people didn’t seem to be unhappy to me either, they didn’t seem to want to kill themselves, they actually talk about how much better their lives were. Please tell me how I am ignoring their well-being? I feel compassion for everyone and I am aware of the effects it can have on some, but not all. With every sin, though, a body will have setbacks. With every sudden change in a lifestyle, there will be issues. A smoker can’t stop one day and expect to be fine, they go through tremendous physical and mental changes that affect their every day lives. It is a process, cold turkey is never really a good method. But like I said, any psychological strain can cause some changes in attitudes. I am not commanding these people to cut off their arms. I am simply posting the truths in the Bible. I didn’t make the rules, the Creator of the universe did. You don’t like it, you can take it up with Him, but I choose to follow His laws no matter the cost because He has shown me a greater love than any fellow human being can. I may not understand every law fully, but I have faith in Him that it is for His will and ultimately for good. He is the root of my views.
