Eaten alive.

WOW LDS GET WRECKED

This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen.

Not a fan of this. What the guy said was correct, but what he didn’t say is what puts me off. He just tore down their side of the argument, but what good is that? He should have presented the Gospel to them. But because he didn’t do that, it looks like he was more interested in winning an argument than he was displaying and defending the Gospel and bringing them to know Christ. Rather than saying ‘that line is bent’, you should say ‘this is a straight line, and your line isn’t like this, so it’s bent’. If after presenting the Gospel which is clearly spelled out in the Bible, they say that it’s wrong or they don’t believe that, show them where Paul said “If any man or angel brings to you another gospel, they are accursed.” Mormonism is founded on the belied that their gospel was given by an angel, a different gospel than the Gospel of Christ.

It seemed more like smugness than love. The way he rejected the man’s handshake, and refused to take the book of Mormon.

“If we both believe in the Bible, why is there any arguing going on here, this should be a lovely conversation. Obviously one of us isn’t telling the truth.” I did like that quote though.

I don’t care if they got ‘wrecked’, ‘eaten alive’ or ‘destroyed’ or whatever, I care about the fact that they walked away from that conversation without a true revelation of the love of Christ. I care that they walked away from that encounter without encountering God and leaving without being saved.

When Christians care more about arguments than the salvation of souls, we’ve got it all wrong.

There was a hunger for more from the young man wearing the glasses. You could see it in his eyes, and body language. He was listening. And he probably may have listened to the Gospel too.

Plus everything Fearghan (onfireforgod) said. Amen.

I get the point he was trying to make when he finally made it at the end of the video, but the fact that he didn’t allow them to speak and refute and continuously cut them down does not make what happened a discussion. He didn’t really give Christians a good name by the way he treated these two young men. Christians are to be loving and respectful when giving the Word not hurtful and demanding.
